It all begins with an idea.
This project was undertaken at the customer’s request despite having previously had it painted a year ago by other workmen. The cracks had already found their way through the filler that had originally repaired them.
First, the whole wall was sanded to expose any areas that required attention. The cracks that showed through were chiseled out until there was a strong base behind and the crack was no longer visible.
The deep cracks were then filled with cement to give them a solid foundation and to stop them recurring. Subsequently, these were sanded down and coated with an exterior filler along with the other small areas of the wall that required attention.
Finally the wall was given three coats of paint that has a 15 year lifespan. This gave a solid colour to the wall and should provide excellent durability to the British weather.
